DeBeer President’s Cup Opens to Sophomores

(Baltimore, Md.; July 14, 2010)-- The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. (CSE), announced today the deBeer President’s Cup presented by the IWLCA is now open to players from the graduating class of 2013. The ultimate girl’s club lacrosse tournament will coincide with the association’s annual meeting in beautiful Naples, Fla. and take place from November 20th-21st, 2010.

Lee Corrigan, President of CSE, said, “By expanding the eligible field from juniors and seniors (class of 2011 and 2012) to players who will be sophomores this fall, we hope to give student-athletes and college coaches a jump start on the recruiting process. With practically every coach or school from Div. I-III being in Naples already, this promises to be the best recruiting tournament of the entire year.”

The tournament hopes to attract 100 club teams from across the U.S. The tournament will be held on 12 lit fields at the multi-million dollar North Collier Regional Park. The Sun-N-Fun Lagoon is also located inside the park and its one million gallons of water offer hours of fun for children and adults of all ages.

CSE is best known in the lacrosse community for its management of the annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic. CSE owns and operates the prestigious event which has attracted top senior and underclass student-athletes since its inception in 2006.

CSE arranged for discounts with area hotels, JetBlue Airlines, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car through the Sports Council of Collier County.
