Vintage Shirts Repurposed Into Face Coverings

CSE has donated more than 2,000 vintage race shirts to several local groups who are sewing face coverings and donating them to front line workers in their battle against the spread of the coronavirus. It’s difficult to obtain fabric across the country, so our race shirts serve as a great alternative during this urgent time.

High school students Alyssa & Kristin, cousins and juniors at Notre Dame Prep in Maryland, are volunteering on behalf of Masks Now to make thousands of masks for numerous groups including the Baltimore County Police and Fire Departments.

CSE also dropped off shirts to Cathy Ginalick & Laura Szoukalski in Frederick who are making masks from vintage race shirts for frontline workers at Frederick Health Hospital.
